Backyard Ballers
Fun focused, skill learning, and lots of PLAY for all levels of youth ballers.
Program Overview
Backyard Ballers: For kids going into 5th through 8th grade
***You do not have to play organized basketball to participate.***
Low Pressure Basketball Games Focused on a Little Bit of Learning and a LOT of PLAY!
Outside of town leagues or programs that are long-term and geared toward kids who want to be super serious about the sport, there needs to still be rec programs for kids who are very involved in basketball but also kids who may just want to be backyard stars! And not commit to a team or league or program. All kids need the opportunity to PLAY games.
Backyard Ballers bridges this gap, creating a space where basketball is about pure enjoyment rather than intense competition. We welcome players of all skill levels—from those who play regularly to kids who've barely touched a basketball. Our program focuses on creating positive experiences through starting each session with basic drills and learning and/or refining their skills. Once we've taught them a few things, we PLAY!
