The Neighborhood Games: Sports & Rec Programs
A return to play in its purest form—joyful, inclusive, and community-centered activities that foster growth and connection.
Neighborhood Games Overview
The Neighborhood Programs represent a return to play in its purest form—joyful, inclusive, and community-centered. We've created a dynamic ecosystem of activities that utilizes traditional sports, backyard games, and mentally engaging pursuits to foster growth and connection.
We believe deeply that not every child or adult aspires to compete at elite levels, yet all deserve the chance to experience the joy of play. Our programs create a "backyard" atmosphere where the primary focus is fun and learning through participation. All activities are supervised by responsible adults and often feature high school and college-aged mentors who help build self-esteem, confidence, and a genuine sense of belonging.
In an era where travel sports costs are soaring and families face increasing pressure from expensive clinics, lessons, and distant competitions, we offer a refreshing alternative. No memberships required. No long-term commitments needed. Just play as you go.
We are local. We are family-owned. We provide opportunities for all—children and adults alike—to learn and play in a supportive, inclusive environment that celebrates effort over achievement and community over competition.

Our Core Principles
Accessible for All
We've designed our programs to be as accessible as possible, breaking down the barriers that often prevent people from participating in organized activities. Many activities follow our "Bring a Buddy" program, offering 2-for-1 pricing to make recreation more inclusive.
Learn a Little, Play a Lot
Our programs focus on creating a supportive environment where the primary goal is fun and participation. We provide just enough structure and skill development to help participants enjoy the activity, without the pressure of intensive training or high-level competition.
Flexibility First
No season-long commitments, no pressure—just fun, flexible recreation when it works for your schedule. Our credit system allows you to drop in and participate in one activity or purchase a credit pack to save money and attend regularly in the activities of your choice.
Community Investment
We believe deeply in recycling community resources back into the places they matter most. That's why we actively partner with charitable and nonprofit organizations, donating a percentage back to community organizations to help them sustain their missions.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do the Neighborhood Programs work?
Our programs work on a credit system. They are not formal leagues and require minimal commitment. You can drop in and participate in one activity or purchase a credit pack to save money and drop in more regularly to the activities of your choice. Simply show up and have fun—no season-long commitments, no pressure—just enjoyable, flexible recreation when it works for your schedule.
Are all activities sports-based?
Absolutely not! While we have plenty of traditional sports options, our programs are designed to provide a much wider variety of recreational opportunities. We offer traditional sports, old-school recess games, and through our Brain Games division, we include chess, art programs, and various enrichment activities. We believe recreation should be inclusive of all interests and abilities.
What if my child has no experience?
We have beginner-level activities for sports that require more skill development, such as Lacrosse and Baseball/Softball. Games that are easier to learn, like Kickball, Tag, and Capture the Flag, are naturally inclusive of all skill levels due to their ease of participation. Our focus is on creating supportive environments where everyone can learn and enjoy activities regardless of experience level.
How much do activities cost?
Most activities range between $15-$30.00, with specialty games at higher prices and some opportunities at lower prices. For those who purchase more credits in a given activity, the cost per session decreases. We also offer our "Bring a Buddy" program for many activities, which provides 2-for-1 pricing to make recreation more accessible.
