SkanStrength Neighborhood Games
Our signature sports & recreational programs & services.
A Return to Old-School Pick-up Play!
In today's world, youth sports have become increasingly demanding on family schedules, finances, and travel commitments. Meanwhile, it's become difficult to find engaging activities for kids who may have interests beyond traditional sports.
We believe there's a critical need for local, flexible, and affordable programs that bring diverse individuals together for play, connection, and mentorship—without the pressure and expense of competitive athletics.
The Neighborhood Games represents this mission.

Our Core Principles
Accessible for All
We've designed our programs to be as accessible as possible, breaking down the barriers that often prevent people from participating in organized activities. Many activities follow our "Bring a Buddy" program, offering 2-for-1 pricing to make recreation more inclusive.
Learn a Little, Play a Lot
Our programs focus on creating a supportive environment where the primary goal is fun and participation. We provide just enough structure and skill development to help participants enjoy the activity, without the pressure of intensive training or high-level competition.
Flexibility First
No season-long commitments, no pressure—just fun, flexible recreation when it works for your schedule. Our credit system allows you to drop in and participate in one activity or purchase a credit pack to save money and attend regularly in the activities of your choice.
Mentorship & Positive Role Modeling
We believe in the power of positive role models. Our programs feature adult, high school and college-aged mentors who work alongside to create an environment where participants build self-esteem, confidence, and genuine connections across different age groups.
What our Community Thinks
So my children have been attending Skan strength and fitness for just about a year… the environment programs and hands on approach from the physical trainers/ owners is amazing. They really put your/ your child’s needs first. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone starting for themselves or their student athletes.

My 11 year old son attends the after school program 2 days per week with Dan and Nate. He loves it and we are so thrilled to bring him to this great family run gym. Dan and his team are kind and encouraging- it’s what you hope it would be. The facility is large, clean and most importantly safe. My son has grown in strength and confidence and I would highly recommend this very positive and motivating experience for all tweens and beyond.

My son has been to a few gyms in the Auburn/Skaneateles area, but absolutely loves SkanStrength. He is impressed with how the trainers have tailored a program to meet his needs and the individual attention they have given him. He highly recommends this gym.
